Curriculum Vitae

I started piano lessons when I was four, and viola lessons when I was seven. Up until I was seventeen, I played mostly classical music on these two instruments, passing all the Associated Board of Music exams with honour. When I was eighteen, I started working in theatre, first as a pianist, then worked my way up to musical director in repertoire theatre. I travelled through the UK in that capacity for ten years, working for both plays and musicals. As theatre composer I wrote the music for plays by, amongst others, Sue Townsend, and for series at the BBC. I also worked as an actress for various theatre groups.

I came to work in the Netherlands at the request of Toneelwerkgroep Proloog. Since 1983 I have been working as a freelance theatre maker, musician, singer/songwriter, vocal coach/trainer, drama teacher, arranger, translator and I make concepts for teambuilding, training and product launches for the corporate world.
